Melanie Barnett is a freshman med school student who was offered admission to John Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore to follow her boyfriend Derwin Davis who ran off, he is a professional football player to San Diego against her parents’ will. Derwin is a first year rookie with a fictional team called the “San Diego Sabers”. As Melanie adjusts to her new life, she meets Tasha Mack who is the mom of a starting quarterback Malik Wright, and Kelly Pitts, Sabers’ captain’s wife Jason Pitts.
